Privacy Policy

Last updated: 29 August 2026

This privacy policy explains how Gaming Development LTD ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales, collects, uses and shares information in connection with the mobile applications we publish.

Our apps appear under the seller name Gaming Development LTD on the Apple App Store and on Google Play. Both are the same company, and this policy covers every app published under either name.

Gaming Development LTD is the data controller for the purposes of the UK GDPR.

1. The short version

We do not run our own servers, we do not ask you to create an account, and we do not sell your personal data for money.

Whatever you create in our apps stays on your device. We never receive a copy of it.

Our apps do include advertising software from other companies — Google AdMob and the ad networks it works with — which shows the ads that keep them free. That software sends information off your device, including advertising identifiers, your IP address, and technical data about how the app performs. Under App Store and Google Play rules this counts as data collected by us, so we describe all of it below.

Everything in sections 3 to 15 applies to every app we publish.

2. The apps this policy covers

This is a single policy for our whole catalogue. It applies to every app we publish that is currently active.

Two things are true of every app we publish, and of any app we add:

  • We store nothing ourselves. The "kept on your device" column is stored locally and never sent to us. We operate no servers and hold no copy, which also means we cannot recover it for you if you delete the app.
  • What leaves your device is the same in every case: the advertising and diagnostic data described in section 3, plus — for the apps that have them — a purchase confirmation from the app store and a leaderboard entry.

If we release an app that collects anything beyond what this policy describes, we will update this policy before that app goes on sale, rather than relying on the general wording here to cover it.

3. Advertising

All of our apps show ads. They are served through Google AdMob, and AdMob shares the data below with the ad networks it runs an auction across — see "Which companies serve the ads" below. Depending on your consent choices and your device settings, this advertising software may collect and process:

  • your advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android) and App Set ID
  • your IP address and the approximate location derived from it
  • device information such as model, operating system version, language and screen size
  • information about the ads shown to you and how you interacted with them
  • product interaction data such as app launches, taps and video views
  • diagnostic data such as crash logs, app launch time, hang rate and energy usage

Google acts as an independent controller for parts of this processing. How Google uses this data is described in Google's Privacy Policy and in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

On iOS, Apple's SKAdNetwork may also be used to measure ad performance. It is designed by Apple to attribute installs without identifying you individually.

On Android 13 and later, our Android apps declare the com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID permission so that the advertising identifier can be accessed.

Which companies serve the ads

We use AdMob mediation. Rather than one company filling every ad slot, AdMob runs an auction across several ad networks and shows whichever bids highest. That means those networks' advertising software is also included in our apps, and each receives the data described above for the requests it takes part in.

The networks in our mediation setup currently include:

Each of these companies acts as an independent controller for the data it receives, under its own privacy policy, and we do not control what they do with it beyond the consent choices you make.

This list changes as networks are added or removed. The complete, current list of advertising partners is shown in the consent message inside the app, together with Google's own list of ad technology providers, and you can review and change your choices there at any time. If you decline personalised advertising, that choice is passed to every network in the auction, not only to Google.

Your choices about ads

If you are in the UK, EEA or Switzerland, the first time you open one of our apps you will be shown a consent message delivered through Google's User Messaging Platform, a Google-certified consent management platform. It asks whether you agree to personalised advertising and to the storing of and access to information on your device for advertising purposes, and it lists Google and its advertising partners. You can change your answer at any time from the privacy or settings option inside the app.

If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will be non-personalised — chosen from general context rather than your interests — and the amount of information used will be limited.

On iOS, apps must additionally ask permission before tracking you across other companies' apps and websites (App Tracking Transparency). If you decline, the advertising identifier we receive is all zeros. You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

On Android, you can reset or delete your Advertising ID in Settings → Privacy → Ads (on some devices, Settings → Google → Ads). If you delete it, the identifier returned to apps becomes a string of zeros.

Where an app offers a paid way to remove ads and you buy it, the advertising software is not started and no ad requests are made.

4. Purchases and subscriptions

Some of our apps offer a paid way to remove advertising, either as a one-off purchase or as a subscription. Which one applies is shown on the app's store listing.

All payments are processed by Apple or Google, depending on which store you downloaded the app from, through their in-app purchase systems. We never receive or store your card details, billing address or payment credentials. We receive only a confirmation that a valid purchase or subscription exists for your device or store account.

Manage or cancel a subscription in your store account settings — on iPhone and iPad, Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on Android, in the Play Store under Payments and subscriptions. We cannot cancel one for you. A one-off purchase has nothing to cancel; use Restore Purchases inside the app if it does not carry across to a new device.

5. Leaderboards and platform game services

Some of our games can submit your scores to an Apple Game Center leaderboard on iOS. It is optional and depends on whether you are signed in to Game Center on your device.

Where it is used, Apple may provide us with your Game Center player identifiers, nickname and avatar, and a list of related players such as friends and players you recently played with. Your scores are stored on Apple's servers so that leaderboards work across devices. This is handled by Apple under Apple's Game Center privacy notice.

We do not receive your Apple Account, email address or real name. You can sign out of Game Center, or remove your leaderboard entries, in your device settings at any time.

6. Analytics and diagnostics

We do not add any separate analytics or crash reporting service of our own — no Firebase Analytics, no Crashlytics, no Sentry.

Diagnostic and performance data is nonetheless collected by the Google Mobile Ads SDK, as described in section 3.

Apple and Google also provide us with aggregated or de-identified reports about downloads, crashes and general usage through App Store Connect and the Google Play Console. We cannot use these reports to identify or contact you.

Under the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, we rely on the following:

Purpose Legal basis
Storing and accessing information on your device for advertising, and using advertising identifiers — for personalised and non-personalised ads Your consent, collected through the in-app consent message. You may withdraw it at any time.
Detecting and preventing ad fraud and abuse, and producing aggregate performance reports, once data has lawfully been collected Legitimate interests — protecting the apps and understanding whether they work
Providing and supporting a paid purchase or subscription Performance of a contract with you
Answering a support or privacy request you send us Legitimate interests, and legal obligation where the request is a data subject request
Meeting tax, accounting and other legal duties Legal obligation

Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already took place before you withdrew it.

8. Sharing and international transfers

We do not sell your personal data for money, and we do not share it with anyone for their own independent marketing purposes.

Where we share data with the third parties named in this policy, we require that they provide the same or an equal level of protection for your data as is set out here. Those companies — Apple, Google, and the advertising networks listed in section 3 — are based in the United States or operate globally, so data they handle may be transferred outside the UK and EEA. Those transfers rely on safeguards those companies put in place, including the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, and the EU–US and UK–US Data Privacy Framework where applicable.

We may also disclose information if we are legally required to, for example in response to a valid court order or to protect our legal rights.

9. How long data is kept

Content you create in our apps stays on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. We hold no copy of it, so there is nothing for us to delete on our side.

If you email us, we keep that correspondence for as long as we need it to deal with your query and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you follow up.

Data collected through the advertising software is retained by each ad network under its own retention policy — for Google, see Google's data retention policies. Game Center leaderboard entries are retained by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy until you remove them.

10. Deleting your data

Because we do not operate accounts or servers, you can remove your data yourself:

  • Content in the app — delete it in the app, or uninstall the app, which removes everything stored locally.
  • Advertising identifier — reset or delete it on Android in Settings → Privacy → Ads; on iOS, decline tracking in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
  • Ad personalisation held by Google — manage or delete it at My Ad Center and through Google's activity controls.
  • Game Center data — sign out or remove leaderboard entries in your device's Game Center settings, or use Apple's Data and Privacy portal.
  • Anything else — email contact@fungames2play.com and we will help you direct the request to the right company. We respond within one month.

11. Your rights

If you are in the UK or EEA, you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, the right to withdraw consent at any time, and the right to complain to a data protection authority.

Because we hold almost no personal data about you — only what you send us by email, most requests need to go to Apple, Google or the ad networks in section 3, who do. Email us at contact@fungames2play.com and we will point you to the right place and help where we can.

UK residents may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. EEA residents may complain to their national supervisory authority.

United States

We do not sell personal information for money. However, sharing advertising identifiers with our advertising providers for personalised advertising may be treated as a "sale" or as "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising under the California Consumer Privacy Act, and as targeted advertising under similar laws in Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon and other states.

You can opt out at any time by declining personalised ads in the in-app consent message, which applies to every network, by declining tracking on iOS, or by resetting or deleting your Advertising ID on Android. Residents of these states also have rights to know, delete and correct personal information, and not to be treated differently for exercising them. Contact us at contact@fungames2play.com.

12. Children

Our apps are intended for a general audience. They are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Some of our apps carry a low age rating — for example 4+ on the App Store or PEGI 3 on Google Play — because their content is suitable for all ages. A content rating describes what is in an app, not who it is aimed at. Our apps are not in the App Store Kids Category, and their declared target audience on Google Play does not include children.

Separately, in the UK and EEA, children below the applicable age of digital consent (13 in the UK, 13 to 16 depending on the country) cannot validly consent to personalised advertising on their own.

If you believe a child has provided personal data through one of our apps, contact us at contact@fungames2play.com and we will delete what we can and help you request deletion from the third parties involved.

13. Security

Because your content stays on your device, its security depends largely on your device's own protections — a passcode or biometric lock, an up-to-date operating system, and installing our apps only from the official App Store or Google Play.

Data transmitted by our apps to advertising and store services is encrypted in transit.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our apps change or when the law does. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.

Adding an app to our catalogue does not change how any of our apps handle your data — the practices described here are the same across our catalogue. If we ever make a change that does affect you, it will be reflected here before it takes effect, and where the law requires it we will ask for your consent again.
